We recommend these courses are taken at your 4-year university, university extension, or community college program. You are responsible for demonstrating how you will meet the above requirements as part of the application process.

Transcripts

Please upload copies of transcripts for each college and university attended with your online application. Transcripts that are scanned and uploaded to the site are considered unofficial. We will conduct the initial review process with unofficial transcripts, however, if you are selected for an interview, you will need to provide official copies of transcripts from your degree issuing institution. Official transcripts must be received before a final admissions decision can be granted.

Candidates may apply to the program if they hold the equivalent of a four-year US Bachelor's degree. Transcripts from non-US universities should include evidence of degree conferral (proof of graduation). International applicants should refer to the International Applicant page for more specific requirements.

Official GMAT or GRE Score

The GMAT or GRE are not required but strongly recommended for applicants with GPA’s under a 3.3. While these tests are not required, the admissions team is looking for evidence of strong verbal and quantitative skills. Note that GMAT and GRE scores are good for up to five years. There is no advantage to taking one exam over the other. If you take an exam multiple times, we will take the highest total score that you obtained on that exam. The Admissions Committee does not average exam scores. While there is no minimum GMAT or GRE score to apply, we do expect that applicants will have an overall competitive profile.

Letters of Recommendation

Two letters of recommendation are required for your application. References can be either academic and/or professional. Submissions of letters of recommendations are preferred using the online application system. However, letters received in the mail will be accepted if received in a signed and sealed envelope directly from the recommender. 

Essays

Two essays are required. The specific essay prompts can be found on the application. Please answer the questions within the space limits indicated. If you would like to include a personal statement, upload in the third essay section.

Submit a copy of your résumé.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (International applicants)

The minimum score for admission is 600 for the paper-based test or 80 for the Internet-based test. TOEFL scores are valid for up to two years from your test date. Applicants may receive a waiver of the TOEFL if all of the requirements for the high school diploma, bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree were completed in a country where the primary and dominant language is English and English was the language of instruction of the school. As an alternative to the TOEFL, you may also take the Academic Modules of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or Pearson Test of English (PTE). For the IELTS, the minimum required score for admission is 7, with a score of no less than 6 on any individual module. The PTE minimum required score for admission is 53. Scores are valid for two years.
