REQUIREMENTS FOR PMASE ADMISSION
Requirements for admission to the PMASE program are based on a student's professional experience, prior education, and the capabilities that he or she can bring to the classroom. For specific information on admission requirements, please visit the PMASE website. The PMASE program is delivered in a hybrid format so that working professionals can continue their careers without interruption. It is delivered through a combination of online learning, live web conferencing, and three visits to campus over the duration of the two-year program.
A bachelor’s degree in math, hard science (chemistry, physics, etc.) or engineering from an accredited college or university.
Five years of technically relevant professional work experience (which may include internships, technically-related summer and/or part-time positions, as well as participation in a cooperative education program.)
A completed application along with application fee.
Three descriptive letters of recommendation. We expect to receive letters from the applicant’s past and current supervisors who can describe in writing why the individual should be considered, in terms of skills and capabilities. As you complete your online application, you will be asked to list your recommender's name and contact information. Your recommenders will then receive an email, inviting them to complete an online letter of recommendation.
A required essay/statement of purpose (no more than one page). The essay/statement of purpose should include: why the applicant should be considered, what experience the applicant can bring to the program and what the applicant wants to take away from the program to enhance their professional career.
A resume (including work and educational experience).
An official transcript sent from each school from which you have received credit toward a degree.
A satisfactory TOEFL score for international students.
GMAT/GRE scores are NOT required.
Applicants may be required to participate in a video or phone interview as part of the application review process.
