Applicants normally have an undergraduate degree in design, engineering, or related discipline. Applicants must have appropriate work experience and/or quantitatively based degrees. However, the undergraduate degree is not as important as having some experience in the field, as applicants must have at least two years of work experience related to product development. There is no GRE requirement. English language proficiency exams (TOEFL, IELTS) may be required at the discretion of the program.
Completed online application form
Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities must be sent directly from the school’s Office of the Registrar.
Interview with the mpd² program director
Examples of professional experience and accomplishments (during the interview). The purpose of the presentation is to make your background "come alive" through the use of a presentation and/or product. Items that might be included are product descriptions, requests for funding, prototypes, samples, brochures, ads, spec sheets, patents, etc. Examples will be securely held by mpd² and returned to the applicant once an admissions decision is made.
Following acceptance, a letter of endorsement is required in order to determine that your company understands and agrees to the time commitment of the two-year program.
Acknowledgment & Verification
The mpd² program office will email an acknowledgment once it has received your application form. We will then contact you to schedule your interview at which time you are to bring your product design and development or technical portfolio.
