Applicants must have earned the equivalent of a 4-year U.S. bachelor's degree with a competitive GPA.

A few years of work experience is preferred, but not required.

GMAT or GRE scores are required.

8.One sealed official transcript from the registrar of each college or university attended except for USC. If all college or postgraduate work has not been completed, transcripts must be sent again when work in progress is completed and the degree is posted. Transcripts written in languages other than English must be accompanied by a certified English translation. It is recommended that you submit your academic records after you have submitted your online application and have received your USC ID number. Including your USC ID number with your mailed documents will expedite their processing.

9. Letters of Recommendation

Only two letters of recommendation are required

Please don’t wait for your letters of recommendation to be submitted to submit your portion of the online application

The letters of recommendation are used as a gauge of your professional achievements and managerial potential. We prefer that your letters of recommendation be provided by a professor or direct supervisor. They should be able to provide specific observations and examples of your leadership, teamwork, analytical skills and personal quantities.

10. Test Scores

GMAT/GRE:

We accept both the GRE and GMAT

GRE or GMAT scores are required for admissions

Sending Test scores: We recommend uploading unofficial copies of your GMAT or GRE scores with your application in addition to sending official scores (through the GMAT testing service or, for the GRE, through the Educational Testing Service using the codes mentioned).

The GRE code for USC Marshall is 4852. No department code is required.

The GMAT score for USC Marshall Marshall MBA code is 389-9C-23.

English-Language proficiency – TOEFL/IELTS (International Students):

International graduate applicants must demonstrate English-language proficiency by submitting either TOEFL or IELTS scores. For the TOEFL we require a 100 or higher with each band score above 20 is required for admissions. Also, for the IELTS a score of 6.5 with no band score less than 6 is required.
