The department reviews each student’s prior academic background in relation to their current professional standing to determine suitability. Candidates for admission to the degree program are selected on the basis of academic transcripts, academic and professional references, and often interviews. Degree candidates have six years to complete the program from the date of their first course.

Part-time students who hold a bachelor’s degree but have not applied as degree candidates may enroll in the department’s classes on a space-available basis for a maximum of two courses prior to obtaining acceptance to the program. Students should consult prerequisite requirements for the program to determine what courses would be appropriate in this situation. It is important to note that a maximum of one course (four credit hours) with a grade of B+ or better completed prior to acceptance, not used toward another degree, and taken no more than four years prior to matriculation, may be credited toward degree requirements with department approval. A written request on the appropriate department form must accompany the student’s application. Students requesting full-time admission are expected to have completed a minimum of one year of work experience.

6.Transcript(s) from each college and graduate school attended. Unofficial transcripts can be uploaded to your application. Official transcripts will be required upon matriculation.

7.A nonrefundable $85 application fee.

8.Minimum TOEFL Requirements

Unless otherwise indicated by the department/program to which you are applying, the minimum total internet-based TOEFL score is 84, with minimum scores in each section as follows:
Reading—21
Listening—18
Speaking—23
Writing—22

9.Minimum IETLS Requirements

In addition to the TOEFL, the IELTS is also accepted as proof of English proficiency. The band score of 6.5 is required for admission to Metropolitan College. Applicants submitting IELTS scores will need to contact their testing center and request official test scores be mailed to the following address:

The Master of Science in Supply Chain Management concentration in Logistics Management provides a solid foundation in the qualitative and quantitative methods used by logistics and transportation managers of complex global supply chains. Specifically, the Logistics Management concentration will emphasize decision-making in the areas of transportation management, warehouse and distribution center operations, and logistics network design—including an understanding of key tradeoffs and the effect of variance in a logistics system. In addition, students will analyze techniques and procedures for conducting international trade, including operations, global transportation, facility network design, intermediaries and trade documentation, import/export channel networks, and the evaluation of global sourcing opportunities. By including insight into the management of performance and exposure to the coordination of large-scale projects, graduates will be well-equipped to take their place among today’s supply chain leaders.
